Incredibly rare, vintage Kodak Focussing Spotlight.
Made in Great Britain, circa 1940's.
Steel body panels with polished aluminium front and rear, and brass side fittings.
Rewired to fit a standard household ES bulb, with inline switch and 13a plug.
The 5" plano-convex lens is in fantastic condition, the focussing tray moves freely and the tilt locks work as they should.
This lamp has very unusual built in side shutters that retract into the main body. These are unlike any other lamp I have ever seen.
Measures approx 30cm x 30cm x 40cm.
It is mounted on a Vintage Watts of London wooden theodolite tripod. Overall the lamp and tripod stand approx 190cm tall.
This is a very rare and pretty lamp, with it's retractable shutters. I have never seen another one like it.
It really is unique.
