Mole Richardson 406 with original rolling stand, circa 1950s-60s.
 
Aluminium and steel body. Stripped, polished and rewired to fit a standard household ES27 bulb, with 13a plug.
The 15cm fresnel lens is in perfect condition and the focus mechanism works smoothly.
The lamp body measures approx 30cm x 30cm x 30cm, including handle and locking knob.
 
The matching rolling stand is steel with bronze fittings and the orignal cast locking knobs with the MR logo. Extends to well over 2m. All the castors work well.
The cast bronze parts show variation in colour, probably because they were all from diffferent batches where the copper/tin ratio was slightly different.
