Strand Patt 30, circa 1960's, mounted on an original Seecol (Strand Electrical and Engineering Co) stand.
 
Stripped, polished and rewired to fit a standard ES household bulb, with inline switch and 13a plug.
 
Steel and copper body, aluminium reflector.
 
The Seecol stand is older, circa 1940's-50's. It has steel uprights and a very heavy cast iron base.
 
The lamp measures 35cm x 35cm x 175 with the stand in it's lowest position. The stand extends up to over 2.5m.
