Strand Patt 58 Pageant theatre lamp mounted on an ER Watts & Son theodolite tripod.
 
The Pattern 58 (and Patt 50) were designed for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth in 1953.
The lamp has been stripped, and rewired to take a standard household ES bulb, with an inline switch and a 13a plug.
The body of the lamp is steel with a beautiful domed copper rear panel. It has a brushed steel and polished copper finish.
The focus mechanism works as it should and the original internal reflector is in excellent condition.
 
The lamp is mounted on a vintage ER Watts & Son beech and brass theodolite tripod and together stand at over 6 feet tall.
